Football is the most popular sports in Belize, it is more than just a game. The Premier League of Belize is that conduit which provides employment for over three hundred (300) players, coaches, and technical staff. It provides a stimulus to the economy by allowing several other sectors to share a symbiotic economic relationship. Our observation locally has shown that involvement in this sector, in general, has positively impacted the reconstruction of our social fabric.
Every four (4) years the PLB Congress Members elect an executive committee, which comprises of a president, vice president and three (3) executive members (of which one shall be a female member).
